Business Development Coordinator (SAP)

An international listed IT company requires the services of a Business Development Coordinator specialising in SAP to join their team. The purpose of the position will be the coordination of business development and pre-sales activities in order to ensure a sustained pipeline for the client.


Responsibilities : Coordination of activities to generate sales pipeline, including activities between business development pre-sales consultants and account managers Coordination of initial targeting of clients, after joint market segmentation have been done by the marketing and teams in collaboration with partners, like SAP In some cases, do initial calls to clients to qualify the prospect Coordination of activities for marketing, pre-sales and demonstration events, between partner marketing organization, the client marketing department, and the responsible business development consultant, of all the tasks which were the responsibility of the business development consultant Coordination of the SAP ordering and fulfillment process, between the sales manager, procurement division, and the partner Assisting the business development teams during the solution design and proposal generation process to close the deals Knowledge : Sales and Marketing processes Knowledge of the automotive, manufacturing, and services markets will be advantageous Must understand the goals and purpose of systems in companies, and must be able to identify at a high level a client to be a prospect for the services they offer Qualifications/experience : BCom Marketing or Informatics Experience in market segmentation, client prospecting, and aspects of the sales value chain The successful candidate will be taught the following in order to do their job: Will receive on-the-job training on several aspects, you must have passion to be trained on such tasks: SAP pricing model SAP components Service Offering Portfolio Sales Process SAP Sales Process Only CV`s of qualifying candidates will be considered.
